There are several consideration involved in pricing a local move. Our local moves are charged at an hourly rate, which includes packing. Our rate is based on the number of movers and the number of trucks that are required for the job, which is usually only one. Your relocation coordinator will make the proper estimate for you. Usually, time charges include hours to load and unload, and the driving time from point of pickup to the destination; on top of this there is a travel time charge. Travel time accounts for the drive time from our office to the pick up and from the destination back to our office. At Jordan River we like to make it easy for you therefore your relocation coordinator will provide you with a flat travel time for your move. A visual estimator will guarantee that the labor hours will not exceed 25% more than the written estimate.
